the BiG one
It is titled the ‘Big One’ because it is only the third time the Principal has been the President of the Conference the highlight will be an open air communion service on the Terrace lawn on Bank Holiday Monday with the President officiating. The Vice President Methodist Conference Ruby Beech will be helping. the style will be ‘picnic’ with people bringing rugs and deck chairs. The Main Bible Study will be lead by Leo Osborne Chair of Newcastle upon Tyne District with Alternative Bible Studies by former Cliff student Gerard Kelly and his wife Chrissy from the Crossroads International Church, Amsterdam.Other speakers include Martyn Turner of Westminster Central Hall, Pete Phillips Secretary of the Faith and Order Committee and New Testament tutor, Masters student Johnson Makoti and his wife Bridget from Zimbabwe, Jenny Impy Co-Chair of the London District from Westminster Chapel London Greg Haslam
For the first time ever the Sheffield District are coming to Cliff College for their District Evangelism Day on the Saturday of the festival Vernon Marsh Sheffield District Chair will address the special meeting called ‘The Gathering’
There will also be a Paul Field Concert on the Saturday with a special moment to remember former student Rob Frost who died last year
